Already in 2010, Velabran GmbH was commissioned by the general contractor HochTief to produce a tone reflector for the use above the orchestra of Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg.
In 2015, the acoustic membranes made of PTFE mesh material could be installed.
With a surface of 250 m² the mambrane ensures a perfect sound distribution throughout the big concert hall.
